Dramatic Play- Valentine's Mail
A snowstorm has kept us home for the last few days, so I decided to switch it up with a little dramatic play! I know Valentine's Day is still a few weeks away but I decided if I made them now they could play with them for a bit.
This project required a few items we already have at home: a color printer, a laminator, and velcro sticker dots (all of which come in very handy for crafting and education resources!)
First, we started by designing mailboxes for our mail.
Then we printed our postcards, and I had the kids color the B&W version of the postcards. We left the to and from sections blank so they could write on them with a dry-erase marker once they were laminated.
Next, we laminated the stamps and the finished postcards.
And last but not least, we played! The kids grabbed bags from our dress-up bin and played family, delivering mail to different people in their pretend neighborhood!
You can download this dramatic play set at my store! I hope you have fun with it! :)
