Timeline Narration Binder

During our Creative Café time, we have begun to use narration pages to capture illustrations and written text about important people, places, and events we are learning about. Each page has space at the bottom to record the dates or general time period being studied. We are keeping these pages in page protectors in a large binder that is separated by the various timeline eras.

Over time, as this binder grows, our children will have a personal timeline of history. It will be filled with the events from the Bible to show how Salvation History is a real part of our historical timeline. These binders will contain events from our lives, the dates when our favorite books were written, notable people, significant events, scientific discoveries, famous artists, and more.

Keeping an ongoing timeline binder is a great way to help children visualize history. They can see in a tangible way how events overlap and what people lived around the same time (as well as when their favorite movies, books, and music were created).

Want to join us in creating your own "Big Book" of timeline events? Begin by downloading our Canva template for a title page (select your favorite color) and a personal history page! Then check out our printable narration pages here
