Creative Shows for Kids

 

Our family likes to limit television, so when we choose a television show for the kids to watch, we like for it to stimulate their imaginations and inspire them to explore the ideas they learn after watching. 

The three best shows we have found that inspire creativity are Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, The Slugs and Bugs Show (can be watched on Formed), and Out of the Box (includes many craft and storytelling ideas).  

I recently learned about the app Brave Plus, which has television shows that are not overstimulating and that spark the imagination in a way that honors the child. We will be trying it out this summer!
