This free quick-write exercise is a simple book-based activity to help your child develop his or her imagination. I invite you to use this exercise during your “Creative Café” time. You will need to have read the story Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney. Pre-writers can draw an answer or narrate their story aloud.
