Bible Storytelling Cards: The Creation Story

Narration, or telling back stories, is an effective way of memorizing and processing information. But for my littlest learners, I wanted to find a more interactive way to help them "tell back" the story of Creation. These story cards can be used in a variety of ways. I hope you enjoy using these with your students. You can access the storytelling cards by visiting my shop

*Note: A few of the descriptions on the storytelling cards are excerpts from the Jesus Storybook Bible. Sally Lloyd-Jones does a beautiful job of expressing to children the beauty of all God created.

Pictured below is a storytelling basket. I put in one object for each card—think of small toys that can help the child tell the story. Children can use the story cards and objects in the basket to tell a story!

I printed these cards and pasted the "script" to the back of the images. Then I laminated them, hole-punched them, and placed them on a ring so that my kids can flip through them over and over again.
