Marshmallow Hearts Valentine Craft
Today my oldest two were interested in getting creative (we are on a Valentine's kick over here), so we found a few canvases and cut one backdrop out of cardboard for this simple craft!
I couldn't help but think of Tomie de Paola's The Art Lesson, which makes the point that a true artist never copies another work of art. However, at this stage, for certain things like a holiday craft, I think it is perfectly fine to do a little copying.
My model pictured above was in black and white, but my daughter decided to switch it up, which turned out lovely!
