Sitting with the Saints Collectable
A few years ago, I created worksheets I called Sitting with the Saints. Each page featured a quote for students to "sit with" and record their thoughts on what the quote meant to them. While worksheets were easier to collect and read, I've found it better to ask students to collect and reflect in their notebooks. Their reflections can be more personal, and the quote, if it inspires them, can sit with them for years to come.
This month, we are sitting with St. Josemaria Escriva. You can download the collectable here! And if you want the image above to hang on a bulletin board, you can download it here.
Here is a simple writing prompt you can share with your students:
- What do you think it means to become a bonfire, a living flame? How can you become a living flame for others? (Give specific examples)
