Earth Day 🌎 🌱

 

This Earth Day, thanks to my daughter’s school, we had a little pine tree to plant. But if planting trees is not a possibility, creative writing always is a great option! I also recommend reading The World Needs the Wonder You See by Joanna Gaines. It invites children to get outside to explore God’s beautiful world!🌳

Here are a few great prompts you can choose from:

• Imagine you are St. Francis of Assisi; write a poem or prayer about your animal friends
• Draw a picture of your favorite thing God created and explain why you love it
• Review the story of Genesis and then narrate the story in your own words. Consider using my Bible Storytelling Cards!
• Write a poem titled “If Earth Could Talk”
• Create a recipe for caring for the earth 🌎
